How does a product manager in India work with our stakeholders?
In the overlap hours, deliberately. India runs three and a half to four and a half hours ahead of CET, which leaves a solid European morning for stakeholder conversations and refinement. It is the role where we are most willing to tell you the fit is wrong: if the job is mostly in-person discovery with German-speaking stakeholders, an offshore product manager is the wrong answer and we will say so.
Whose backlog and rituals do they work in?
Yours. This is staff augmentation: the product manager joins your team and works in your backlog, your tooling and your existing rituals, reporting into your product organisation. We do not take the product away and run it from Bangalore.
Can we start with one product manager and grow the team?
Yes. After a three-month minimum term an engagement continues month to month on 30 days' notice, so you can add a second product manager per stream, or a designer or analyst alongside, and move to a dedicated team model with its own lead.
